THE FOUNDER’S JOURNEY INTENSIVE

THE FOUNDER'S JOURNEY INTENSIVE

Stop Trying to Fix Everything. Solve What Matters Now.

60 or 90 days of stage-specific support to help you identify what is holding your business back, develop the Capabilities you need, and make measurable progress towards your next stage.

THE PROBLEM

You Probably Don't Need More Business Advice

Founders are surrounded by advice.

Build your brand. Post more content. Raise investment. Hire a team. Create systems. Run ads. Automate. Network. Sell. Scale.

The problem isn’t necessarily that any of this advice is wrong.

It may simply be wrong for where you are.

A founder trying to prove that customers will consistently buy their offer has very different priorities from a founder whose growing business has become completely dependent upon them.

Yet both are often given the same advice.

The Founder’s Journey takes a different approach.

First, we identify where you are. Then we determine what matters now.

FIND WHERE YOU ARE

The Founder’s Journey Framework

Every business develops through recognisable stages, and each stage presents the founder with different challenges.

The Founder’s Journey identifies five:

EXPLORER

Am I building the right business for me and for a real market?

You may be here if you have an idea or opportunity but are still working out whether it is the right business for you and whether there is a real market for it. You may have several possible directions, be exploring a new product or service, or even be an experienced founder entering a new area and needing to establish whether the opportunity is worth pursuing.

Your priority is to develop Founder–Product–Market Fit — the alignment between you as the founder, the problem you want to solve, and a market that genuinely cares about that problem.

BUILDER

Will people buy it — and can I make a living from it?

You may be here if you have started selling, perhaps even made a number of sales, but customer demand is still inconsistent. You know that some people will buy, but you have not yet established a sufficiently reliable flow of customers and revenue to know that the business can sustain you.

Your priority is to turn an idea or early offer into genuine customer demand and a sustainable pipeline of sales.

OPERATOR

Can this business work reliably and repeatedly?

You may be here if the business is generating sales but delivering what you sell is becoming increasingly demanding. Too much may still depend upon you. You may be juggling customers, operations, people and decisions, and discovering that what worked when the business was smaller is becoming difficult to repeat consistently.

Your priority is to build the systems, processes, team and operational Capabilities required to deliver consistently without everything depending upon the founder.

GROWTH FOUNDER

Can we multiply what works without diluting its value?

You may be here if you have a business that works, customers who buy and a way of delivering consistently, but you now want to grow significantly. The challenge is no longer simply making the business work — it is increasing customers, revenue, people and operations without losing the quality, trust or value that made the business successful.

Your priority is to develop the leadership, acquisition, infrastructure and organisational Capacity required for sustainable growth.

VISIONARY

Can this become bigger than me?

You may be here if you have built a successful organisation but are increasingly thinking beyond your own direct involvement. Your attention may be shifting towards developing leaders, strengthening culture, creating new opportunities, shaping the future of the organisation or ensuring that what you have built can continue creating value without depending upon you.

Your priority is to develop people, leadership and organisational capability so that the business can continue creating value beyond the founder.

FOUNDER'S JOURNEY ASSESSMENT TOOL

Not Sure Which Stage You're In?

You don’t have to guess.

The Founder’s Journey Assessment is designed to help you identify where your business currently sits within the Founder’s Journey and how ready you are to progress.

The assessment helps you begin answering three important questions:

Where are you?

What matters now?

What do you need to do next?

FROM MANY PRIORITIES TO ONE

The Problem Is Usually Not Your To-Do List

I once asked a room of founders to write down everything they believed they needed to do to move their businesses forward.

Some identified 15 or more things.

Marketing. Websites. Funding. Social media. Recruitment. Systems. Sales. Networking. Branding.

But after working through the Founder’s Journey Framework, something changed.

For many of them, those 15 priorities became one.

They identified the constraint that mattered most for the stage they were actually in.

That’s what the Founder’s Journey Intensive is designed to do.

Reduce the noise. Identify the constraint. Focus your resources. Make progress.

DIAGNOSIS IS THE START

Knowing Your Stage Is Only the Beginning

Knowing where you are can change the way you see your business.

But diagnosis alone doesn’t create progress.

Knowing you’re a Builder doesn’t automatically create a consistent pipeline of customers. Knowing you’re an Operator doesn’t automatically reduce founder dependency. Knowing you’re ready for Growth doesn’t tell you which constraint you need to address first.

Once you understand where you are, the next challenge is to identify what is preventing you from moving forward, determine what matters now, and develop the Capabilities and Capacity required to make progress.

That’s where the Founder’s Journey Intensive begins.

FROM DIAGNOSIS TO PROGRESS

How the Founder's Journey Intensive Works

1. DIAGNOSE

We begin with the Founder’s Journey Assessment.

Together we establish:

  • Where your business currently sits within the Founder’s Journey
  • How ready you are to progress
  • The Capabilities you already possess
  • The Capabilities and Capacity you now need to develop
  • The constraints preventing progress

You don’t begin with a generic programme.

You begin with your business.

2. IDENTIFY THE PRIORITY

Once we understand your stage, we determine the most important problem to solve next.

That might be:

  • Validating an opportunity
  • Getting your first customers
  • Creating a consistent sales pipeline
  • Improving an offer
  • Increasing revenue
  • Developing repeatable delivery
  • Reducing founder dependency
  • Building systems
  • Developing your team
  • Strengthening leadership
  • Preparing for sustainable growth

But we don’t try to tackle everything simultaneously.

We solve today’s stage.

3. BUILD YOUR 60 OR 90-DAY ROADMAP

Together we translate your priority into a practical Founder’s Journey roadmap.

Instead of leaving with another long list of things you “should” be doing, you know:

Where you are.
What matters now.
What to do next.

Your roadmap establishes clear actions, milestones and measures of progress.

4. EXECUTE

Knowing what to do isn’t enough.

Over the following 60 or 90 days, we work together to implement your roadmap.

The emphasis is not simply on achieving an immediate business result.

It is also on developing you as the founder.

You develop the skills, knowledge, judgement, habits and Capacity required for the stage you’re navigating.

Because the purpose isn’t simply to solve today’s problem for you.

It is to develop your ability to solve tomorrow’s.

The traveller is changed by the journey.

5. REVIEW, LEARN AND ADAPT

Business development rarely follows a perfectly straight line.

We regularly review:

What did we expect to happen?
What actually happened?
What have we learned?
What needs to change?

Your roadmap adapts as evidence emerges.

At the end of the Intensive, we reassess your position and determine the next priority in your Founder’s Journey.

YOUR PERSONALISED SUPPORT

What You Receive

Depending upon the needs identified through your assessment, your Intensive can include:

  • Founder’s Journey Assessment
  • Stage and readiness diagnosis
  • Identification of your primary business constraint
  • Personalised 60 or 90-day roadmap
  • Regular 1-to-1 founder sessions
  • Stage-specific guidance and challenge
  • Capability and Capacity development
  • Practical tools, frameworks and templates
  • Progress and milestone reviews
  • Accountability between sessions
  • Direct support when you become stuck
  • End-of-programme Founder’s Journey review
  • Clear priorities for your next stage

This is not a generic business course.

The support changes according to the founder, the business and the stage.

60 Days or 90 Days?

For founders with a relatively clear challenge who need focused support to remove a specific constraint and build momentum.

Best when the problem is already becoming clear and concentrated execution is required.

For founders whose challenge requires deeper diagnosis, experimentation, Capability development or sustained implementation.

Best when meaningful progress requires several cycles of action, evidence, learning and adjustment.

You don’t need to decide which programme you need before speaking with us.

We determine that together.

IS THIS RIGHT FOR YOU?

Who Is This For?

The Founder’s Journey Intensive is designed for founders and business owners who:

  • Feel busy but aren’t sure they’re working on the right things
  • Have too many competing priorities
  • Have reached a plateau
  • Need greater consistency in sales or delivery
  • Have become a bottleneck within their own business
  • Are preparing for their next stage of growth
  • Need experienced challenge and accountability
  • Want practical guidance rather than more information

It can support founders from early validation through to established businesses preparing for significant growth.

Different stages. Different problems. Different priorities.

A NEW APPROACH

What Makes the Founder's Journey Different?

STAGE- FOCUSED

We don’t start with everything a business could possibly do.

We identify what matters at your current stage.

FOUNDER-FOCUSED

Businesses don’t develop independently of their founders.

As your business changes, you must develop too.

PROGRESSION- FOCUSED

The objective isn’t simply to solve an isolated problem.

It is to help you develop the Capabilities and Capacity required to progress through the Founder’s Journey.

THE FOUNDER'S JOURNEY INTENSIVE

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know which Founder’s Journey stage I'm in?

You don’t need to work this out yourself. You can begin by taking the Founder’s Journey Assessment, which is designed to identify where your business currently sits within the journey and how ready you are to progress. Your stage and circumstances are then explored more deeply as part of the diagnostic process.

What's the difference between the 60-Day and 90-Day Intensive?

The 60-Day Intensive is designed for founders with a relatively clear challenge who need focused support to remove a specific constraint and build momentum.

The 90-Day Intensive is better suited to challenges requiring deeper diagnosis, experimentation, Capability development or several cycles of implementation and learning.

You don’t need to decide beforehand. We determine that together.

Is the Intensive suitable if I haven't started making sales yet?

Yes. The Founder’s Journey begins before consistent sales. If you are at the Explorer or early Builder stage, the work may focus on establishing Founder–Product–Market Fit, validating an opportunity, developing your offer or beginning to generate paying customers.

The work changes according to your stage.

Can the Intensive help if I already have an established business and team?

Yes. Established businesses face different problems from early-stage businesses. Your challenge may involve repeatable delivery, founder dependency, systems, leadership, team development or preparing the organisation for sustainable growth.

The purpose of the diagnosis is to determine which challenge matters most now.

Is this coaching, consulting or a course?

It is not a generic business course.

The Founder’s Journey Intensive combines diagnosis, strategic guidance, challenge, Capability development, practical implementation and accountability according to the needs of you and your business.

Rather than taking every founder through the same predetermined curriculum, the work begins with your stage, your constraint and the progress you need to make.

What happens during the Discovery Call?

The Discovery Call is an opportunity to discuss your business, where you believe you may be within the Founder’s Journey and the challenges you are currently facing.

We can then explore whether the Founder’s Journey Intensive is appropriate for you and, if it is, whether a 60-Day or 90-Day Intensive would be most suitable.

What if the Intensive isn't right for me?

The purpose of the Discovery Call is to establish whether the Intensive is appropriate for your situation.

If it isn’t the right next step for you, there is no reason to force your business into a programme that doesn’t fit.

Diagnosis comes before prescription.

YOUR NEXT STEP

Start With One Question

You don’t need to know which programme you need.

You don’t even need to know exactly what’s wrong.

That’s what the diagnosis is for.

If you’re working hard on your business but aren’t certain you’re working on the right thing, start with a conversation.

Discover:

Where you are.
What matters now.
What to do next.
